Bad Bunny is preparing to embark on what may become the most ambitious stadium tour in Spanish-language music history. Beginning November 21 in the Dominican Republic, the Puerto Rican artist born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio will launch a global trek in support of his sixth studio album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in January 2025.

The tour, produced by Live Nation, will span Latin America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, with stops in countries where no Spanish-language artist has headlined stadiums before. According to figures provided by the promoter, the tour has already sold 2.6 million tickets and is expected to generate hundreds of millions of dollars, positioning it as one of the most commercially significant live music events of the next year.

Before taking the tour abroad, Bad Bunny will stage a 30-date residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, drawing an estimated 250,000 visitors to San Juan over the summer. The residency underscores his longstanding commitment to performing in Puerto Rico and is projected to make a significant impact on the local economy through tourism and related cultural activity.

Unlike many contemporary stadium tours built around retrospective narratives or discography-spanning experiences, Bad Bunny has clarified that this tour will remain focused on his current work. In a recent interview with Variety, he addressed comparisons to other high-profile tours, namely Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. “First of all, I’m not Taylor Swift,” he said. “I want to clarify now so that they don’t get so excited: It’s not going to be organized that way. It’s still very much a tour for DeBÍ, with some older songs sprinkled in.”

DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS is a stylistic departure from his previous releases, while not universally accessible, the album’s critical and commercial success confirms his ability to bring experimentation to a global audience without compromising identity or language.

By the end of 2025, Bad Bunny is scheduled to perform across Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and France, among others. In doing so, he will become the first Spanish-language artist to headline stadium concerts in at least seven countries on the itinerary.

The decision not to frame the tour around a “greatest hits” approach is strategic. While it may not satisfy every fan hoping for a comprehensive retrospective, it reflects Bad Bunny’s ongoing commitment to artistic presentness.
