Rapper Offset marked Halloween 2025 with a surprise release of his new album, Haunted by Fame, an 11-track project that arrived at midnight with little advance notice. The drop came only two months after his August LP Kiari, extending a prolific year for the Atlanta artist.

Offset began teasing the new record hours before its debut, posting brief, unsettling visuals to social media, a nod to the holiday’s atmosphere but also to the darker themes he’s chosen to explore. The album, available across all major platforms, was recorded while the rapper was on tour and features guest appearances from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, NoCap, and Lil Dump.

Much of Haunted by Fame reflects the fragmented rhythm of life on the road. Offset’s verses alternate between confidence and fatigue, capturing the unease that often accompanies celebrity life. The production blends heavy, atmospheric trap elements with minimalist percussion, underscoring the project’s tone of tension and introspection.

Industry outlets described the release as a concise, focused extension of Offset’s ongoing exploration of identity and public scrutiny. While Kiari presented a deeply personal view of the artist following his public separation from Cardi B, this new album turns its focus outward, addressing the pressures of fame and the hollow glamour that follows success.

Alongside the album, Offset released a video for the track “Ya Digg.” Directed with a raw, handheld aesthetic, the video captures the rapper performing in backstage corridors, on his tour bus, and outside an ambulance in Birmingham, Alabama. A brief scene involving a snake crawling across his face provides the only overt reference to Halloween, offering a visual metaphor for the album’s title.

Offset’s decision to release Haunted by Fame so soon after Kiari underscores his current creative momentum. , his first solo record since 2023’s Set It Off, was praised for its balance between introspection and technical skill. In Rolling Stone, critic Will Dukes wrote that the album showed Offset “finding solace and looking inward” while maintaining his signature precision.

Where Kiari offered self-reflection, Haunted by Fame reads as an external continuation, a snapshot of an artist testing his limits under constant exposure. It is less confessional and more observational, turning personal fatigue into broader commentary on celebrity culture.

At just over 30 minutes, Haunted by Fame is a compact work rather than a major release. Still, it signals a clear direction for Offset’s solo career: a move toward disciplined storytelling and thematic cohesion. The album’s restrained production and limited guest features place the focus squarely on his delivery, which remains sharp and deliberate throughout.

Released without fanfare and timed to a season synonymous with masks and illusions, Haunted by Fame suggests that Offset is less interested in spectacle than in examining the costs of visibility.
