Ariana Grande is heading back on the road with the Eternal Sunshine tour, her first full concert run in nearly six years. The announcement comes after months of speculation, as fans wondered whether the pop star would return to live performance following the release of her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine. Grande had previously admitted she wasn’t sure about touring again, explaining that her last world tour, which supported both Sweetener and Thank U, Next in 2019, left her emotionally drained. She said she needed time away to figure out how she wanted to approach concerts in the future.

Now, Grande says she’s ready to do it differently. The tour begins in June 2026 with two nights in Oakland, California, before continuing through Los Angeles with shows at both the Crypto.com Arena and the Kia Forum. Other stops include Austin, Atlanta, and Sunrise, Florida, Grande’s hometown. The singer will also play four nights at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, with additional dates in Boston, Montreal, and two closing shows at Chicago’s United Center on August 3 and 5. After the North American run, she’ll head to London for five nights at the O2 Arena, one of Europe’s biggest stages.

Her return to touring follows several years focused on other projects, particularly her film work. Grande took on the major role of Glinda in the movie adaptation of Wicked, which was split into two parts. The first film premiered in late 2024, while the second is due for release on November 26, 2025. Between filming and promotional duties, Grande kept a low profile as a performer, which only built more excitement for when she might step back into the spotlight.

The new tour will cover music from two of her recent albums, Eternal Sunshine and Positions, much like her 2019 Sweetener World Tour, which featured songs from multiple projects. In an interview earlier this year on the Zach Sang Show, Grande admitted she wasn’t sure at first about combining the two records. “I think that I was buying myself time, I didn’t want to do that,” she said, joking about how she kept delaying the decision.

She also explained why she had hesitated to commit to touring sooner. “I had a really hard time emotionally on my last tour, but I think that’s because of where I was at,” she said. “So just like with music, I think I’m really excited to redefine my relationship to shows when I’m ready and to see what that looks like.”
