Bon Jovi is officially returning to the road. The band announced their Forever Tour, their first full series of concerts since 2022, following frontman Jon Bon Jovi’s recovery from vocal cord surgery. The comeback marks a turning point for the New Jersey rock group, whose hiatus and uncertainty about performing again were documented in Hulu’s 2024 docuseries Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story.

“This announcement carries a lot of joy, joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together,” Jon Bon Jovi said in a statement. “I get to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a collective experience, I get to stand in the we of our concerts.”

Bon Jovi’s vocal challenges were no secret. His surgery in 2022 left his future as a live performer uncertain, and much of the past few years were dedicated to vocal therapy and rebuilding his confidence onstage. The decision to return wasn’t rushed; the upcoming run was carefully structured to accommodate his recovery.

The Forever Tour will open with a four-night residency at Madison Square Garden in New York this July before heading to the U.K. and Ireland for three additional shows. While smaller in scale than the band’s past global tours, the itinerary signals a measured re-entry into live performance.

Presale tickets for the New York dates go on sale Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. ET, with general sales following Oct. 31. Information for the international shows will be announced on the band’s website. Bon Jovi and his bandmates have played a handful of warm-up performances in recent years, including a June show in Nashville, but this marks their official full tour return.

Coinciding with the announcement, the band will release Forever (Legendary Edition), an expanded version of their 2024 album featuring new collaborations. The updated tracklist includes contributions from Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Carin León, Joe Elliott, Robbie Williams, and Avril Lavigne.

Jon Bon Jovi credited the fans and his bandmates for giving him time to heal: “I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring. I’m ready and excited.”
