Nearly two decades after The Black Parade first cemented its place as a generational anthem, My Chemical Romance aren’t slowing down. The band has announced an expanded run of shows to mark the record’s 20th anniversary, adding 17 new dates to what was already one of the year’s most in-demand rock tours.
The initial trek, billed as the Long Live The Black Parade Tour, launched in July with 12 high-energy stadium shows. Now, with demand still surging, the newly revealed leg, dubbed The Black Parade 2026, will carry the celebration through next fall across North America and Europe.
The extended North American leg kicks off Aug. 9 at Citi Field in New York and will bring the band to major cities including Nashville, Washington D.C., Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver, San Diego, Phoenix, and San Antonio. The run will close with a three-night stand at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles this October.
Across the Atlantic, the band has also added another Wembley Stadium date in London, giving UK fans a third chance to experience the full-scale production.
Support across the run will vary, with a lineup that reads like a festival bill: Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, Jimmy Eat World, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, Babymetal, Pierce the Veil, The Mars Volta, and Iggy Pop are all confirmed for select shows.
General ticket sales for the new dates begin Friday, Sept. 26, at 12 p.m. local time. Given how quickly the first batch of shows sold out, demand is expected to be intense.
My Chemical Romance wrapped up the first portion of the anniversary tour this past weekend with a sold-out show in Atlanta. Reviews praised the band’s continued ability to command stadium crowds nearly two decades into their career. At a hometown performance earlier in the summer, frontman Gerard Way dropped to his knees during fan favorite “Helena,” belting the chorus alongside thousands of voices. “I felt that one in my bones,” he told the audience.
