Noah Cyrus marked the release of her new album I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me with an intimate performance in London on Friday, where she was joined onstage by a very special guest: her father, country music star Billy Ray Cyrus. The family duet became one of the highlights of the night, as the two performed a pair of emotionally significant songs that underscored their shared musical roots.

The event, held in support of Noah’s sophomore full-length album, featured performances from the new record as well as a handful of collaborative tracks. Billy Ray joined Noah to perform their 2022 duet “Stand Still,” originally featured on her debut album The Hardest Part. The pair also performed “With You,” a song Billy Ray wrote during his youth and one that Noah chose to cover on her latest release.

“‘With You’ is actually a song my father wrote from his childhood bedroom and was one of the first songs he ever wrote,” Noah told fans in an Instagram post following the show. “That’s been a song of comfort that he’s sung to me since I was a little kid, and it meant so much to me to be singing it together and share that moment with one another.”

In a video shared from the event, the two can be seen exchanging a brief laugh onstage as a feather fell from Billy Ray’s hat mid-performance. The crowd, visibly moved by the father-daughter performance, applauded the moment that clearly meant a great deal to both artists. In her message to fans, Noah also reflected on the emotional weight of the night. “Thank you for coming to the I Want My Loved Ones to Go With Me album release show and being a part of a night I’ll never forget here in London,” she wrote. “It’s always been the gift of music that’s brought us together. Feeling extremely grateful for the incredible fans who were singing every word from the new record. I’m one lucky girl.”

The support extended beyond family as well. Elizabeth Hurley, Billy Ray’s girlfriend, was in attendance and commented on Noah’s post: “Your show was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for having us. It was wonderful to see you play with your Daddy ❤️❤️❤️.”

Noah’s new album, released on July 11, features collaborations with artists including Ella Langley (“Way of the World”), Blake Shelton (“New Country”), and Fleet Foxes (“Don’t Put It All on Me”). The project has been praised by critics for its emotional depth and sense of artistic maturity. In its review, Rolling Stone described the record as a work that “benefits from a fuller approach that feels like an artist coming into her own”.
