BLACKPINK Announces ‘Deadline’ World Tour

BLACKPINK has officially announced their return to the stages with the Deadline World Tour, their first all-stadium run and most ambitious tour to date. The tour begins July 5, 2025, in Goyang, South Korea, and will conclude on January 18, 2026, at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. Spanning Asia, North America, and Europe, marking a major milestone not only for the group but also reflects the continued global rise of K-pop in pop culture.
Since their debut under YG Entertainment in 2016, BLACKPINK has redefined the global girl group model, quickly gaining the status of cultural icons. Following the release of their second studio album Born Pink in 2022, the group embarked on a lengthy world tour that wrapped in 2023.
As of May 2025, each member of BLACKPINK has been actively expanding her solo career: Jennie released her debut solo album Ruby in March, launched a successful international tour, and remains a major presence in fashion through collaborations with Chanel and Calvin Klein. Rosé dropped her long-awaited album Rosie in late 2024, contributed music to the survival show I-Land 2, and continues to represent Yves Saint Laurent globally. Jisoo released her solo EP Amortage in February, embarked on her "Lights, Love, Action!" fanmeet tour across Asia, and is preparing for her film debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Meanwhile, Lisa took on a role in the third season of The White Lotus, performed at the Oscars, and released her first solo album Alter Ego while collaborating with major artists and fronting campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Bvlgari. These individual projects have reinforced each member’s influence across music, fashion, and film, all while anticipation builds for their reunion on the Deadline World Tour, set to begin in July.
Is comprehensible to notice that, with the announcement of the Deadline tour has added speculation amongst the fans, while no official statement has been made about the meaning behind the title, fans have taken to social media to ask whether this could be the group’s last collective project. The absence of a new group album since Born Pink and the increasing focus on solo careers have only intensified these questions.
Still, the excitement around the tour is undeniable. Stops include major venues such as SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Citi Field in New York, Stade de France in Paris, Wembley Stadium in London, and additional nights in cities where shows sold out quickly. Tickets went on sale February 27 through Live Nation, and most dates reached capacity within hours.
Whether Deadline refers to an ending, a transition, or simply a dramatic theme, is good to have BLACKPINK back.
