Conan Gray has announced his fourth studio album, Wishbone, which will be released on August 15, 2025, through Republic Records. The announcement comes after the success of his 2024 album Found Heaven, and continues his journey as one of today’s most promising voices in pop music.

Gray built a fanbase as a teenager on Youtube, by sharing original songs and personal vlogs from his bedroom in small-town Texas. His debut album Kid Krow in 2020 launched him into mainstream success, thanks to hit songs like “Heather” and “Maniac.” Since then, he’s developed a reputation for writing about heartbreak, identity, and growing up, with a soft, vulnerable tone that has connected deeply with fans around the world.

With Wishbone, Gray says he’s diving even deeper into his emotions. He wrote most of the songs over the past two years, during quiet moments between tours. According to him, this album is a reflection of thoughts and feelings he hadn’t been ready to share before. The lead single, “This Song,” is set to be released on May 30 and is expected to set the tone for the rest of the record.

For Wishbone, Conan Gray reunited with Grammy-winning producer Dan Nigro, who has been a key part of shaping his sound since the beginning. He also brought in a mix of new collaborators, including Ethan Gruska and Luka Kloser. Together, they helped craft a sonically rich album that blends different styles and moods, reflecting Gray’s evolving artistic voice.

The album will have 12 songs, including titles like “Actor,” “Romeo,” “Vodka Cranberry,” and “Class Clown.” For fans who have followed Conan for a while, this album feels more personal, showing a more honest and open side of who he is now.
