Demi Lovato and Jordan “Jutes” Lutes were married on May 25 in a private ceremony at the historic Bellosguardo Estate in Santa Barbara, California. Surrounded by family and close friends, the couple marked the occasion with a celebration that balanced intimacy with a few standout moments.

One of the most memorable came during the couple’s first dance, when Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik performed “Iris” live. The 1998 ballad has held personal significance for Lovato and Lutes throughout their relationship. Hearing it performed just steps from the Pacific Ocean added an emotional weight to an already meaningful moment. Lovato later described it as “surreal.”

Following the ceremony, the evening shifted into a lively reception. Paris Hilton took on DJ duties for the afterparty, transforming the atmosphere with a high-energy set that quickly filled the dance floor. Lovato noted Hilton’s impact, saying she “literally shook the dance floor,” a detail that brought a sense of fun and spontaneity to the night.

Lovato and Lutes first met in 2022 while collaborating on songs for her album Holy Fvck. What began as a creative partnership gradually turned romantic. The two became engaged in December 2023, choosing to keep most of their relationship out of the public eye.

Reflecting on the wedding, Lovato described it as a moment that felt honest and personal. The celebration, though modest in scale, captured the couple’s connection and the path that brought them there. For Lovato, who has long navigated life in the spotlight, the day marked something rare, something quietly her own.
