Ten years after the release of his debut album Handwritten, Shawn Mendes is returning to the stage with a new tour that honors where it all began. The “On the Road Again” tour, announced Thursday, May 29, will take Mendes across Europe and North America beginning this August.

The tour opens on August 2 at the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, Kosovo, and wraps on October 17 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. In between, Mendes will play major cities including London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Munich, Boston, Toronto, New York, Chicago, and Vancouver.

This anniversary tour it’s a reflection of growth, over the past decade, Mendes has transitioned from viral sensation to globally recognized artist, stepping away at times to recalibrate, and now returning with a renewed sense of direction.

Joining him on select dates are a few handpicked artists: Portuguese singer MARO and Cameroonian-French musician Lubiana will open during the European leg, while Australian singer-songwriter Eddie Benjamin will accompany him in North America.

Tickets go on presale starting June 4, with general sales opening June 6 at 10 a.m. local time. Full dates and details are available on shawnmendesofficial.com.

The tour follows the release of Mendes’ most recent album, Shawn, which arrived in November 2024. The record marked a more introspective phase in his career, leaning into quieter production and lyrical honesty.
